Picking PT (5-5) to win 31-14 over Monroe (2-8), which has had a challenging year. Truth be told, neither team has set the world on fire tho PT appears headed in the right direction and has won four of its last five.

Calling this one for Male. I think they pull away in the 4th. Going with 34-24. Thoughts?

Taylor County (3-6) coming off a 24-6 win at Barren County will travel to Greensburg to take on Green County (2-6) who is coming off a BYE week and celebrating Senior Night. There will be some unusual air at Dragon Stadium as the two neighboring towns come together on Halloween Night for some High School Football. With the vast improvement of Taylor Co. under the head coach Dudley Hilton, can the Dragons close the regular season with a win over the Cardinals? Thoughts.

I believe it will be a great one. No doubt about that but this QB from Caldwell whose committed to Purdue is the real deal (my opinion from what I've seen this year so far , is a far better all around QB than the great "Corey Robinson" from Lone Oak a few years back!) Stands in the pocket as well as moves around inside and outside the pocket, big build, fast, very athletic and also is a play maker will several on his team... This game is going to be the best feeler gauge on how both teams will react when ending the season going into the playoffs! Great athletes on both sides of the ball! Should be one to watch out for!

Some really good first round games coming up. Looking forward to Caverna-Mayfield, Crittenden-OCath and Marshall Co.-Male in particular. What do you guys think? Any other good ones stand out to ya?

As the regular season comes to a close tonight for Caverna (3-6), they will travel to Metcalfe Co (3-6) for their Senior Night. Both teams needing a win heading into the playoffs as Caverna will face powerhouse Mayfield and Metcalfe Co looks to have a home meeting with Bardstown possibly. Thursday Night High School Football, who wins?

Hi-Lites

After a very rough start, Tilghman seems to be playing better, albeit against weak competition. They have outscored their last three opponents 160-24. They seem to get their act together better towards the end of the season and play well in the playoffs, especially last year, defeating South Warren, but falling apart against Wayne. Does anyone else think Tilghman has gotten it together, or is the weaker teams, or both?

Some one tell me about/explain Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville High School football team is being forced to forfeit three games from earlier in the season for using an ineligible player.
