Russell better hope they win tonight because the next couple of years is going to be rough on them. Best group of skill guys I've seen in Adair county for a long time.

The Lasley kid is the real deal he had around 250 total yards and 4 touchdowns. 40-19 was the Final score. Adair runs there record to 5-0.

Travis Gay has had this program going in the right direction since he took over. Well coached, steady improvement and doing the best with what he had.

......now, throw in some legit talent (I remember people in Columbia talking about this group of sophomores when they were in 3rd/4th grade. Every program seems to pull the "We have some talent coming up" card in their younger years, but this group was/is just DIFFERENT), lead by Melton/Lasley.

Speaking of Melton @ QB...I read on another thread about this game where he looks similar to Elijah Sindelar of Caldwell County when he was a sophomore. That's spot on in my opinion.

THIS is what happens when good coaching meets playmakers.

It's not real complicated, and it's a beautiful thing to watch.
