Thoughts and predictions about this game? Both teams not playing at their potential so far. Monroe is stacked with talent, they just don't seem to be in the right positions. Both teams are 1-1 ..is Eli Brown the biggest threat in this game?

East should win...better skill players. Both teams are well coached. Both will play hard. But the FR RB for East and Eli should be the separating factor in this game.

Been some good games between these two schools over the past few years. Should be another. I'll be a homer and say monroe wins. But, if they lose then ill start having some concerns about the rest of the year. And maybe monroe is still a year away.

Monroe County just lost their starting Defensive End Aaron Vickery. He has a broken tibia. Tough loss for Monroe County.

Shew. Monroe is losing everybody. Not sure if they've gotten any of the other big guys back yet, but they were already down several.

Monroe always plays a lot of people, only a very few go both ways anymore. Competition for playing time in practices with a lot of depth. Seems they always have more injuries going with and against their teammates than they do in their games every year.

Vickery just came off a good game and will be missed. Couple of DE's gone will hurt their depth but they still have about 4 reliable with good experience.

Got a couple back, but really early in the year to have so many out. Also got a starting LB back that was out. IF they can stack the box and let nothing around the ends they would have a good chance in this game. Their offense is pretty explosive all over the field, so Monroe always has a chance to put up good numbers on the scoreboard. It may come down to if they can somewhat contain Brown and Reynolds so who knows? Could be a close game going either way if both play well.
