Who will win class 2A

Is this a serious question? If Mayfield doesn't win, their season is a disappointment. I can see Danville being competitive, but I don't think they have enough horses to finish off 4 quarters with the Cardinals.

Surprised isn't the word. I drank the kool-aid all the Mayfield faithful had been spewing. CAL was the best team in 2A, by far.

CAL had a ton of talent last year and returns most of it. Milton Wright may be the best prospect in the state behind Brents. The Carr kid they have a QB is still raw but he was only a Sophomore and he's got P5 size and can sling it. On D, they have a DT named Oflofsky who is a MAC/low level P5 kid and Wright plays safety, plus they have a few nice linebackers. They destroyed Central when they played them last year and Central put together a nice run losing to Belfry in the 3A title game. I expect CAL to repeat again this year even though Jake Paulson is leaving.
