First district game for both teams. Definitely going to be the toughest game for Adair so far. Can they keep their winning streak going? Will Monroe finally start playing as a team and start competing in 3A? Who wins this game?

Adair gets over the Monroe roadblock. This group of sophomores that Adair County has at the skill spots are for real. Their junior and freshmen groups are pretty solid as well. Travis Gay has things going there. The 9th, 10th and 11th group might be three of the better classes to come through Columbia in a long, long, long, long time. They are going to be problematic for most people the next 2 1/2 years...and, they are just going to keep on getting better and better. And, while there isn't many of them, they are lead by a small (in numbers), but solid senior class who might go down as the winningest in programs history.

From now-2016 season...people need to take what they usually think about Adair County Football, and just toss that out the door.

Seen both teams play. Monroe will win the size battle however the skilled players of Adair are the best they've had in a while. Monroe must keep somebody locked up on #28 Jordan Lasley or the Indians will put up some points. On the other hand, the Indians must do a better job in the secondary or Arnett will throw all over them. Don't let Adair's size on the defensive front fool you, they are quick and athletic but Monroe is Monroe especially at home so it would be an upset in my eyes for the Indians to pull off this win. I will go out on a limb and say Falcons 32, Indians 21
