Madisonville downs Hopkinsville 60-42.

Ryan Bowman 29 rush for 392 yds 4 TD's, 3 rec. 56 yds 1 TD.

Madisonville had 4 turnovers and over 100 yds in penalties. Just know, the scoring margin could have been a lot worse. Have to credit the Maroons offensive line (Adams, Gilmore, Qualls, Reynolds and Thompson). They were opening holes the band could have gotten through! 502 yds rushing, 685 total yds.

#7 for North Hopkins had an impressive game. He's is their team. Got a couple huge linemen, but the rest of the team is just a bunch of trash talkers. One of the most classless teams I have seen. Their coaches need to get control of that team, but maybe that's the way they want them to be.

How a North Hopkins fan can complain about the officials is completely ridiculous. Hoptown got completed jobbed in this game from the beginning. Not counting an obvious third quarter touchdown on a 4th and 1 when the Hoptown running back had half his body and the ball in the zone was unbelievable. Hoptown goes up 14 at that point. Then, the most obvious and blatant miscall was the late hit on the Hoptown QB that put him out of the game. Right in front of the white hat. That official needs to be banned from HS football, he has no clue. That kid could have been seriously hurt, he was defenseless after throwing a ball and got drilled with a spearing head first hit that put him out of the game. In a time when player safety is supposed to be at the forefront, missing that call was inexcusable.

A Hopkinsville fan calling another team classless is ridiculous. A high school team represents a community and chanting curse words during a warmup is a good representation.

Hopkinsville is not the Hopkinsville of old as everyone knows, and to call Madisonville classless compared to them is ridiculous and must be coming from someone who knows nothing about football or is just a HOMEtown fan and not a fan of the game itself, otherwise the game was a shootout with the Maroons coming out on top, move on because the refs were horrible for both sides

Madisonville has now beaten Hopkinsville 8 years straight, They are an improved team and have good athletes as always just weren't able to score later in the game while the Maroons continued to rack up yards and Td's

Good showing of late against Hopkinsville, but the Maroons still trail the all-time series by a bunch.
From 1987-2006, Hoptown won 21 of 24...and one of the "losses" was a forfeit after using an ineligible player.

Here's hoping Madisonville can keep getting stronger and that Hopkinsville comes back to its historically good self.
