Spruce Creek High School located in Port Orange (Daytona Beach area) is looking to travel out of state for a game in 2015, preferably week 2-4.

We are an 8A program that is currently 4-2 this season. We are in florida's largest classification due to our IB academic program which has over 600 students. Our varsity team carries between 40-45 members. We are open to playing anyone. We would be able to finance most of the trip ourselves, but help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Try McCracken Co., they have a weekend of bowl games and are sometimes looking for teams. Try searching gomccracken.com, you can get contact info off of it.

Contact Belfry High School and Johnson Central High School.

Belfry is a small school powerhouse who is about to be very, very good the next 3 years. They have 3 State Titles the past 11 years and have reached the Finals 7 times in that span and are the #1 3A team this year as well.

I know they have several 2 year contracts expiring including a couple in that range of weeks. The coach does not mind taking a loss if it makes them better. As for finances, Belfry has one of the most loyal fanbases in KY and the game will draw a very nice gate. They may very well be able to work with you financially if for no other reason to give a split of the gate.

Belfry doesn't mind playing out of state teams and just did a Home and Home with a team from Knoxville, TN and Gallipolis, OH (4 hours and 2.5 hours respectively)

Johnson Central is a bigger school. They will be a 5A school next year and have had some very strong teams that just couldn't get past the Highlands hurdle. They are consistently a Top 3 or Top 5 team in their class and if not for Highlands probably would have a couple State Titles the past 7 years.

Johnson Central has absolutely been handcuffed from a scheduling standpoint because they are a strong, big school in rural East KY. They have brought in teams from Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Cleveland, and Canada just to fill a schedule.Usually they are left bringing in weak schools because they have to fill up at the last minute.

I have no doubt they would love a quality opponent and welcome the opportunity and once again great community support and booster club that may help you some financially.
