Both teams lost last week to Evansville powerhouses but Catholic got their breaks beaten off by Reitz and OHS lost a heartbreaker in OT to Mater Dei. If the Aces can get the OL straightened out this week I really like their chances. The devils will bring pressure all day and keeping Warren upright will be the key.
For the devils offensively they will need to be able to put the ball in the air. The Aces run defense looks pretty good but the secondary is huge question mark.
On paper this looks like a Reitz win but I think the Aces have enough to keep it close. Reitz destroyed Henderson last week and Catholic struggled with Daviess Co. I think the Aces are a much better team then they showed last week and they get a few guys back that were out last week. If the Catholic OL can give Warren some time this could get interesting.
It appears as though BGP is now charging to post. BGP has really taken off over the last couple of years. A few years ago, Kentucky Preps was as active as BGP, but BGP went free and the posters went over as well.
Now with BGP charging, it'll be interesting to see if KYP will take back off
Mayfield looked really good last night. I believe by the end of the regular season this team will be scary good. Defense has a ton of speed. Offensive line opened some good holes tonight. The 2 qb look is going to give teams fits.
ACS looking to improve on what started last year before loosing the QB to a knee. Passing game and defense looked strong last week. Don't know much about Barren they took what looked to be a pretty lopsided loss to what seems to be a really good Casey county team. Interested myself to see if ACS can put together another strong showing or will they fall back into the trap of years past and lay an egg against a team that on paper looks like they are out matched.
