2015 LCA Guard and Forward Visit Cornell

2015 Lexington Christian Academy guard Brad Calipari and 2015 LCA forward Matt Rose visited Cornell together this past weekend. We caught up with Calipari and got his take on his experience and the upcoming basketball season.

(On what he liked from watching Cornell play): "They play like us, they get up and down the court and shoot a lot."

(On the campus and facilities): "The campus was real nice, it had a lot of older buildings but they were cool. The gym was real nice too, it was real small but I liked it."

(On expectations for LCA this season): "We're the underdog, nobody thinks we're going to be good because of last year."

Calipari is also hearing from Samford, who is trying to get him to come for a visit, Belmont, Pennsylvania, NKU and a slew of Division II schools.

2014 South Warren LB Cody Chaffin talks recruiting

Friday night, South Warren dominated Adair County 41-0.

The Spartans forced their sixth shutout of the year. A lot
of credit for this Spartan defense is given to two of the state's top prospects
in DT Adrian Middleton, committed to UK, and LB Joel Iyiegbuniwe. With Iyiegbuniwe
out due to medical conditions, another Spartan linebacker stepped up to fill
big shoes.

Senior Cody Chaffin led the defense this game with an
abundance of tackles and big stops. After the game, Cody told Kentuckypreps.com
he is being recruited by a few schools and has some visits coming up. Cody
explains in this premium video:
