Re: Bowling Green Area Pick 'em Week 5 9/26

ACS 42 LC 7

ACS rolls in this one and takes out the frustration over last weeks OT loss out on the Cougars.

BG 63 Barren 0

Not much to say about this one. I'd hate to be in Barren's position with BG coming off the first loss in three years.

OCath 35 Butler Co. 7

Butler's let down last week carries over.

RVK 28 FS 27

RVK isn't losing on the big night. Does Macdon cheer for both teams? Maybe a RVK shirt with FS hat? Stay tuned.

Glasgow 35 Monroe 14

Monroe continues their struggles.

SW 42 Edmonson 14

SW playing great right now. Edmonson showed some toughness last week in their comeback win, but SW is too much.

WC 35 Gwood 7

New staff at Gwood has won me over, but the product on the field stays the same. Dragons cross I-65 and roll back to Morgantown Road with another W.

Meade 35 Warren East 14

Meade is really good and East is coming off a big defeat. Another bump in the road for the Raiders.

Re: Bowling Green Area Pick 'em Week 5 9/26

Logan County at Allen County-Scottsville Its Logan
Barren County vs Bowling Green Bad time for Barren to play BG, the Purples are pissed
Butler County vs Owensboro Catholic Never pick against the Catholics
Franklin-Simpson at Russellville Wildcats will not lose again
Glasgow at Monroe County Falcons are struggling
South Warren at Edmonson County Spartans are pretty damn good
Warren Central at Greenwood Speed, speed, speed
Warren East vs Meade County GO RAIDERS!!!

Re: Bowling Green Area Pick 'em Week 5 9/26

ACS gets a nice win to get things rolling as they build toward the District
BG...but Barren is better than they've been in some time and are so with very few SR's.
OC...I'm with R1, don't bet against the Catholics
FS...Mac has a melt down as he is unable to handle referring to BG, FS, or RVK as his school of allegiance.
Glasgow in a a battle of two teams we thought would be in much better shape at this point.
SW rolls on
Greenwood surprises everyone and defeats the fighting Feggins.
East and Eli bounce back.

.

Farking? Forking? Furking? Ferking? I don't get it. I didn't know we're going to have to play word games, when I signed up.

Re: Bowling Green Area Pick 'em Week 5 9/26

Logan County at Allen County-Scottsville - it's not that ACS is great, it's...
Barren County vs Bowling Green - Hmmm.
Butler County vs Owensboro Catholic - OCath has too many skill players for Da Bears.
Franklin-Simpson at Russellville - coin flip. I'm thinking the Wildcats will ruin Russellville's party.
Glasgow at Monroe County - I can't remember a worse Monroe County team.
South Warren at Edmonson County - The Bottom Feeders will walk over another blip on their mighty schedule.
Warren Central at Greenwood - Lol. I think we all know the outcome of this one.
Warren East vs Meade County - at least Raider1 can get some home cooking before Meade County releases the hounds.

Re: Bowling Green Area Pick 'em Week 5 9/26

Logan Co at ACS--- ACS, no explanation needed
Barren Co vs BG--- BG coming off a loss and will be destructive, BG wins big
Butler Co vs OCath--- OCath, shouldn't be close at all
Franklin-Simpson at Russellville--- Should be a fun and close game, Russellville wins it at home
Glasgow at Monroe Co--- Glasgow gets it done
South Warren at Edmonson Co--- SW gets the easy win
Warren Central at Greenwood--- Central by a couple TDs
Warren East vs Meade Co--- I'll take Meade at home

Re: Bowling Green Area Pick 'em Week 5 9/26

Logan County at Allen County-Scottsville--ACS

Barren County vs Bowling Green--A new streak? BG

Butler County vs Owensboro Catholic--Aces

Franklin-Simpson at Russellville--Sticking with the Wildcats

Glasgow at Monroe County--Glasgow

South Warren at Edmonson County--South Warren.

Warren Central at Greenwood--Green....nah, Warren Central

Warren East vs Meade County--Meade County

Re: Bowling Green Area Pick 'em Week 5 9/26

Logan County at Allen County-Scottsville - Different week, same result for the Cougars! - 41-12

Barren County vs Bowling Green - Poor Barren has to face an angry BG team. 48-7

Butler County vs Owensboro Catholic - Bears got blown out by Grayson...Aces will put a running clock on them. 48-14

Franklin-Simpson at Russellville - This one will be tight, but R-Ville finds a way to win at Rhea. 28-27

Glasgow at Monroe County - Monroe is on a slip-n-slide right now. 28-12

South Warren at Edmonson County - SW scores early and often, EC gets on the board late. 35-6

Warren Central at Greenwood - ATHLETES!!! 42-14

Warren East vs Meade County- The Green Wave engulfs the Raiders. 34-13

Re: Bowling Green Area Pick 'em Week 5 9/26

Logan County at Allen County-Scottsville - I'm betting Logan breaks 20 points this weekend but ACS still puts up 40+
Barren County vs Bowling Green - Barren country pays for BG lacks of focus last week
Butler County vs Owensboro Catholic - O Cath smacks butler down.
Franklin-Simpson at Russellville - Going with my heart, rville minimizes turnovers and wins a close one at historic Rhea stadium.
Glasgow at Monroe County - Monroe??
South Warren at Edmonson County - South Warren rolls in an easy one
Warren Central at Greenwood - Don't think there is a clear favorite. Central wins if they don't turn the ball over.
Warren East vs Meade County - Don't trust East anymore.

Re: Bowling Green Area Pick 'em Week 5 9/26

I didn't know Farmy was a Gator! Even Gator fans don't think they stand a chance. Seabolt is starting a freshman at quarterback. He's building a team that will be competitive in a few years, but they are not there yet.

Re: Bowling Green Area Pick 'em Week 5 9/26

Hey...the Purple alum and the Purple adoptee hit em all this week.

Is that a streak?

Not too shabby for the Purples Red Headed Stepchild. That's #1.

He isn't a Gator. Did you see what he did to the thread title? Maybe he is Raider 1 under an assumed name.

You guys are like an obnoxious drunk that crashes a party. Everybody is having a great time and enjoying themselves, then you show up and ruin the party. What a buzz kill! No wonder nobody wants to play with mean old Franklin!

That was a great football game. Russellville jumped out 14-0. Quarles looked unstoppable. FS just kept pounding the ground game and it eventually paid off. FS had to stave off a late RHS drive for the win with an interception under 2:00 to go. The Panthers had it 1st and goal at the 6.

Me thinks the Panthers should have kept it on the ground, as well! That being said, Coach Wallace called two passing plays, one from the 10 and then one from the 1 yard line, in double overtime against St. X. only needing a field goal to win. That's why I'm not a coach. Too predictable.

Mcmurry had Coco open just threw it behind him for the INT. The wrong call for a young QB maybe.

Sounded like on the radio that Mcmurry is getting more and more comfortable with each game. I think he's going to be real good, just has to earn his stripes and get the experience under his belt.

Rville has 2 more weeks of tune ups before the throwing and running windows tighten up again against Mayfield.

He puts a lot of air under the ball. Gives the defense a chance on every ball over 20 yards or so. Makes the receiver play defense to stop interceptions.

Quarles was pretty gassed by the 4th quarter. He didn't miss many plays prior to that and he goes HARD every down. A strong young man.
